Ice Bears tonight!

Knoxville's Culture and Events Examiner is back up and running after a short hiatus and we're going to start off with what's going on today, Friday, January 22nd here in Knoxville.  It's not First Friday, but it's still Friday and it's a chance to go out and do something fun, like go to a hockey game!

The Ice Bears are sitting in the middle of the Southern Professional Hockey League with 16 wins and 12 losses and you need you to get out to a game and cheer them on.  Well why not tonight?  Professional hockey games are always a blast, plus this game is against the rival Huntsville Havoc who sit on top of the SPH at 21-4. By the way, the Ice Bears crushed the Havoc 6-1 on opening night.

Even if you're not a Hockey fan you'll have fun tonight at the Ice Bear's game.  it's baby race night!  Seriously, toddlers are going to crawl across the finish line at center ice. Adorable.  Tickets are reasonable, prices range from 8-27 dollars, see ticket details here or call (865) 656-4444.  Here is the Ice Bears home page and here is a link to the SPHL.
