The cast of “iCarly” got to share their show with a very special quest this week, Michelle Obama. The First Lady made a special appearance on the “iCarly” show, which will air on Monday January 16th.
The cast of this popular kids show said in an interview that they were honored to have Mrs. Obama appear on their show with them. The First Lady went on the show to promote her message of support for the nation’s military families.
“iCarly’s” lead character is Miranda Cosgrove, who plays Carly. On the show she's the daughter of a Colonel currently serving overseas in the military.
The cast talked about getting a quick look at what the First Lady’s life is like with all the secret service officers that came with her. The secret service came a week before Michelle Obama was due on the set because they had to make sure everything was secure for her visit.
Both of Michelle Obama's daughters are fans of “iCarly," so she was well in tune with this show even before stepping foot on the set.
Connecticut fans of “iCarly” can see the new episode with Mrs. Obama on Monday January 16th at 7:30 pm on Connecticut’s NIK Channel.
