Ibotta the new coupon user app

Ibotta is a recently developed app that has caught the eye of many coupon users. If you enjoy saving money when you shop, then this is the app for you. You could save as much as $20 per shopping trip or so this is what Ibotta claims on their website.

Here's how it works:

You will want to download the app to your smart phone from an app center such as Google Play or Apple iTunes. After the download is complete, you will log into the account that you created when you signed up. Sign up here.

Once you have logged in, you will be able to link your Paypal account. This is how you will get paid. Then you will want to activate the items you intend to purchase. Once you do this you will be ready for your shopping trip.

After your shopping trip, you will go to the app and select "Redeem" from the menu. You will select the retailer you shopped at, and then you will select "Upload Receipt" from the menu. Once you upload your receipt you will then scan the bar code of each item you have purchased that you would like to redeem through Ibotta. After 24 hours you should receive your credits. Once that credit reaches $5, you can cash out via Paypal. This app sounds a little bit like SavingStar, but without loading coupons to your store cards. Did you find this article helpful?
