Walter Ibarra's two-out, RBI single led the Albuquerque Isotopes to a 3-2 victory over the visiting Reno Aces on Saturday night. Albuquerque rebounded from an 8-3 loss on Friday in the series opener.

The Isotopes (23-26) saw their first two batters in the ninth strike out. Pinch hitter Alex Liddi and Miguel Rojas then hit back-to-back singles.

Mike Baxter was hit by a pitch to load the bases, setting the stage for Ibarra. The second baseman lined a single to right field, scoring Liddi with the winning run.

Jamie Romak had hit a solo home run in the second inning to give Albuquerque a brief lead. Trayvon Robinson's RBI single in the fourth made it 2-0. Reno (28-22) rallied for two runs in the seventh to tie the game, including a solo homer by Andy Marte.

Sam Demel pitched five scoreless innings for the Isotopes, allowing just one hit and two walks while striking out four batters. Matt Magill (3-2) earned the win with 1.1 innings of scoreless relief.

Albuquerque and Reno will meet again Sunday at 6:05 p.m. The Isotopes will send Carlos Frias (2-2, 6.91 ERA) to the mound against the Aces' Zeke Spruill (2-1, 4.72).
