Because of all the tweeting and voting that went on the YEARS OF LIVING did in fact trend worldwide.

The YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY Tweet read ‘THANKS to our fans/supporter for helping us trend! Let’s hope for a long, cool after party.’

In Ian Somerhalder’s episode, he tries to defuse a conflict between father and daughter on the subject of climate change. The father an evangelical preacher doesn’t believe in climate change-not enough proof and the daughter studied it in college. A huge rift has grown and Ian tries to bring them closer together by going on a fact-finding mission. The debate over climate change can reach a very personal level.

If you have not seen this ‘groundbreaking’ series which is as James Cameron phrases as ‘the biggest story of our time’ it is still available on Showtime on Demand and then please vote for its two Emmys so that Season Two will be possible.
