Ian Johnson the 16-year-old high school returned to America’s Got Talent on Tuesday night for another exciting performance of Yo-yo madness. Taking the simple yo-yo and performing tricks that are literally what every young teen dreams of doing, he shocked the stage with his yo-yo madness. Being the first yo-yoer ever in the live portion of the show, the pressure was on but he was very good. Howie Mandel, the AGT judge was brutal in suggesting that it might not be a headlining act for Las Vegas.
Johnson first auditioned in Las Vegas. His performance was stunningly fast and the judges complimented him as they had never seen such a performance. Neither had the audience who gave the kid a standing ovation. With the tricks he showed at the first audition, who would have thought he could have topped them in the quarterfinals?
After Ian Johnson leaves the stage, the only thing left for America to do is decide if this yoyo man should stay or go. The votes have to be placed before the live elimination round on Wednesday night with only four acts out of the 12 actually moving on to the quarterfinals. Breaking the hearts of eight acts, there is nothing pretty about eliminations, but Iam Johnson thinks he can catch one of the spots.
Take a look at the video clip of Ian Johnson in one of his performances on America’s Got Talent. He moves the yo-yo so fast, you can barely see it.
