IAMs, a Proctor and Gamble company, issued a voluntary recall of specific lots of its Shakeables Turkey and Lamb Dog Treats. This voluntary recall, which was noted from a notice to the PetSmart Corporate website, was sparked by potential mold growth.
The impacted items with their lot numbers are as follows:
- IAMs Shakeables Turkey 6 ounce package with these lot numbers [2342]419715A; [2325]419715A: [2331]419715A; [2332]419715A; [2341]419715A; [3016]419715A;
[3017]419715A; [3018]419715A; [3046]419715A - IAMs Shakeables Lamb 6 ounce package with this lot number [2338]419715A
To find the lot code on your can, look at the first 4 numbers of the second line on the bottom of the can as they identify the affected lots.
The company advises that consumers should stop feeding the products to your pets, and to bring any remaining IAMs Shakeables Turkey and Lamb Dog Treats included in the affected lot numbers to your closest PetSmart Store for a full refund. If you have questions about this voluntary recall, please call Proctor and Gamble (IAMs) at 1 (877)894-4458.
