I want candy: The sweetest beauty picks

Last week I was outside without a jacket in the gorgeous New York weather, wishing I had a big ol' swirly, rainbow lollipop to enjoy as I walked around in the springlike sunshine.  Tonight, I just came in from putting my windshield wipers up since there's more snow expected tonight, and to cheer myself up, I reached for the leftover Valentine's candy (cherry Three Musketeers minis, if you're interested).  Whatever the weather, apparently one thing's for certain: I want candy!  With these scrumptious, sugary beauty products, you can have calorie-free, candy beauty anytime.

Hair sugar!  Not as weird as it sounds, trust me.  Cake Beauty's Satin Sugar Hair and Body Refreshing Powder is seriously amazing.  I have the one for darker hues (they make one for lighter hues, too), and it is the best dry shampoo type of product I've ever tried.  It smells sweet, almost brown sugary, and when you use it in your hair, it absorbs oil pronto, allowing you to put your hair up without your hair looking totally gross.  If you use it on your body, you'll notice it has a bit of sparkle to it, but not so much that it looks trashy.  Each hair powder is $16; buy online at Sephora.

This candy's got bite.  How adorable are Tokidoki's Purple Killer Candy hair pins?  They're bobby pins adorned with plump purple lips that have teeth!  Criminally cute, indeed.  You can buy these at Sephora, too.

Kissable deliciousness.  Urban Decay's Sparkling Lickable Body Powders are as yummy as they are fun to apply and play with.  They come in cocoa, marshmallow, and honey flavors, and not only do they all taste divine, they also smell deliciously sweet.  These can get pretty sparkly, so use sparingly and in appropriate situations only (ie, don't wear them to the office).  The cocoa one gives pale girls like me a little added warmth to the skin tone.  All of them work nicely to set lipsticks (just get a bit of the sparkles on your finger and pat them lightly and evenly across your lips for better lipstick staying power).  Plus, since they're actually edible, you can put them anywhere you want to be kissed (I suggest the decolletage).  Buy from Urban Decay by clicking here.

Re-Treat yourself!  Dylan's Candy Bar makes a scrumptious line of beauty products called Re-Treat.  It looks like they're phasing these products out--they only have some of the Strawberry Licorice and Coconut Bon-Bon products left.  But right now, if you buy one Re-Treat product, you get one of equal or lesser value FREE...so now's the time to stock up!  Dylan's Candy Bar sugar scrubs are awesome in texture and scent, and the candy butter cream body butters are soothing and moisturizing; both are available in the Strawberry Licorice scent.  Buy from Dylan's Candy Bar by clicking here.

Easteriffic!  I haven't tried the newest Philosophy product yet because as of right now, it's still not in stock at Sephora, but I cannot WAIT to try the Spring Has Sprung! set.  It's a set of three 3-in-1s (they act as shampoo, bubble bath, and shower gel all in one) in Orange Jelly Bean, Chocolate Bunny, and...the one I'm looking forward to the most...Sugar Chick!  The Sugar Chick one looks bright yellow...I'm betting it smells like a marshmallow Peep!  I'm so excited for this set...c'mon, Sephora, get them  in stock so we can buy them, pretty please!  (Buy them here...well, when they're in stock, anyway, which will hopefully be soon!)
