I Remember Jim Morrison

 One of the cool things about being The Doors Examiner is that one morning you go out to your mailbox and get a surprise! A few weeks ago I was talking with my friend Michael White about Alan Graham’s book I Remember Jim Morrison. I mentioned that I didn’t know too much about the book just what I’ve read on message boards. Last week I went out to my mailbox and Lo and Behold! There’s a review copy of I Remember Jim Morrison!

Alan Graham was married to Jim Morrison’s sister Anne from 1968 until about 1991, and so was Jim Morrison‘s brother-in-law. I Remember Jim Morrison offers a perspective not often found in books about The Doors or Jim Morrison, from the side of Jim’s family.

As I started reading the book and talking about it with Michael it turned out our opinions on the book were somewhat divergent so I asked Michael if he’d like to do a review for The Doors Examiner which would run along side mine. He agreed, and so here are the reviews of Alan Graham’s I Remember Jim Morrison.
