I-play, which released the Vision in White game last February, has decided to suspend its plans to create three additional games based on each of the remaining novels in Nora Roberts’ Bride Quartet. In a post to the ADWOFF message board dated today, Dec. 28, 2010, Laura Reeth, Nora Roberts’ publicist, cited “lower than expected sales of Vision in White” as the reason for the game publisher’s decision.
I-play launched its adaptation of Nora Roberts’ first Bride Quartet novel on February 25, 2010. This interactive hidden object game could be downloaded from the I-play website. To advertise its new product, I-play created a video and sponsored a sweepstakes competition.
On May 21, 2010 Nora Roberts’ Penguin USA publishers announced in a blog post that I-play would follow the release of Vision in White with three more games. The remaining novels in Nora Roberts' Bride Quartet – Bed of Roses, Savor the Moment and Happy Ever After would also be adapted in game formats similar to that of Vision in White, Julie Schaeffer, Penguin USA’s Online Content Coordinator, revealed.
I-play's parent company, Oberon Media, Inc., confirmed this fact. As of May 22, 2010 the company’s website stated that a Bed of Roses game would be released in December 2010 and that games for Savor the Moment and Happy Ever After would be out in 2011. However, by Nov. 1, 2010 that information had been removed from the site.
In her ADWOFF remarks, Laura Reeth expressed her own disappointment with I-play’s choice, commenting that she thought the Vision in White game to have been “tremendous fun.” She added that I-play could possibly reevaluate its decision if enough fans expressed their desire for the additional games to be developed.

I Love THE BRIDE QUARTET Set , I myself have bought two sets one for my self & one for my mother, both my daughters have bought the set. As for the first game one of my daughter and myself have bought the game and have played it like 30 times or more and have been looking forward to the rest of the games and I can tell you I'm soooo not happy to hear that I-PLAY is going to stop. THEY NEED TO FOLLOW THROUGH!!!!!!!
I thought the graphics in the Vision in White game were so appealing that I was looking forward to seeing what I-play would come up with for the other games. The images for Mac's room really caputured her personality. I'm sorry they've suspended plans for the new games too.
I am so very disappointed to hear that I-Play suspended plans for the rest of the Bride Quartet game series. I have waited so long to play them. I adored "Vision in White" !!!! I hate that there will be no more.
I am disappointed also. I got my sister to read the books as well and buy the game too. We were both looking forward to the Bed of Roses game as we both have purchased the Vision in White. The graphics and story line in Vision follows the book to a tee. I hope I-Play changes their decision about the Bride Quartet game series. There are a lot of Nora Robert's fan that will be extremely disappointed, including me & my sister.
I am very disappointed that we were not told about this on her web site and also that it is not updated as of this date, I love playing the vision in white game over and over, I have been waiting for the next one to be released but I couldn't find out why it wasn't, I had to go to another web site to find out this disappointing news, please update the site as soon as possible.
I am also disappointed that they are not following through with this. I have been checking Nora Roberts web page weekly to see when the next game was coming out. Does anyone know if there is an email address out there that the fans can flood with upset emails? Nora has enough fans that we should make them think twice about their decision. Come on I-play keep your commiment.
i was looking forward to the next pc game of the bride quartet bed of roses. i enjoyed vision in white so very much. i am so very disapointed with i- play....
I have been checking every day since 1st of December for the new Bed of Roses game. I guess saying that I am not happy about the cancellation of this series is mildly stating my disappointment.
I was so looking forward to playing the games for the other three books in the quartet and I'm extremely disappointed that I won't get that chance. I raced out to get the books and the first game with the hope that I'd be able to do the same with the final games. Is there a petition or something going around by any chance?
I can't believe that you guys have stopped the Bed of Roses PC game. You need to finish the game and put it on the marked. I really enjoyed Vision in White game.
I also enjoyed the Vision in White game and think that I-Play needs to reconsider their decision. I think the graphics were beautiful, the voice acting well done, and the gameplay more remarkable than most HDO games I've played.

I love the Vision In White game. I have played it several times and enjoy it every time. I also have the Bridal Quartet books and have read them several times. I was truely looking forward to the Bed of Roses game. I am disappointed that the rest of the games have been suspended. Maybe down the road they will try again. There would be a lot of fans who would really enjoy them.

I have been waiting 7 months for the Bed of Roses game. I check often and this is the first time I have seen anything about suspending the games. Real shame, I love playing Vision in White. I have all the books, they were great, wish there would be another one that had all of them married.

I am really sorry I-play suspended these games. I loved playing "Visions in White", I liked the graphics and I was looking for the other games. I haven't read the books and I am not going to (they are not my cup of tea) but I wanted to play the games. Maybe some day they will change their mind and we will get some new nice games to play.
I-play is really stupid! This is really my favorite game ever. This game is simply amazing and very beautiful. I think more people feel this way, and that's a good sign. I-play is really stupid, because they are not going to continue the other games. I'm very disappointed, and I think that applies to other people here. I've read the books and it would really have been nice to have all games. I've waited so long, and now that I'm reading this .. I have to say that I'm very disappointed. I hope at least that Nora writes a fifth book, where all 4 girls are married. That would alleviate some sad thoughts. Thanks I-play, thanks for promises that you do not comply.
I've been so looking forward to playing the next three games. Ever since I bought Vision in White, and saw that was going to be a sequel, I've been impatiently waiting for it. I thought that at least Bed of Roses should be out, as I only bought Vision in White a few months ago. I really love it. Please change your mind I-Play, I know I'm not the only one to be upset.
I expressed my unhappiness about the games being suspended a few months ago and I haven't heard anything to change that. I mean I would think that at this point enough people have expressed their desire for the other games so what's the hold up.
I can't believe that the Bed of Roses game has still not been released. What is their problem? You need to release the game there are alot of people me included are waiting for the game. I feel like they have the game and just not releasing it.
I have played Visions in White I loved the game and I am waiting the for the next. Now I understand it has been suspended. Why? I have been waiting a long time to play all of the games. PLEASE reconsider
This is my third time posting on this story and I'm still hoping that the manufacturers of the game(s) will reconsider. The reason that I'm posting is because I just read on the author's site that the Bride Quartet books are being reprinted beginning in May. Being that they are to me that means that the belief is that they'll sell because they are popular. Under this same logic shouldn't the reprinting of the books be a signal to the creators of the game(s) that now might be a good time to continue them? I've asked multiple times about a possible petition to no avail.
we all need to contact Iplay so they make the other 3 games this is so not cool iplay you need to finish there are so many fans who want this game.
