Pop singer Justin Timberlake unveiled a video on Thursday announcing his return to the music scene. He will soon be releasing his newest material since 2006's “FutureSex/LoveSounds” album.
Timberlake had fans and the Internet on edge when posted today's date on Twitter, hinting to possible new music. While no music was released just yet, he built anticipation even more about what's about to come.
“To whom it may concern... I think I'M READY! #JT2013” he wrote on Twitter today with a link to a video explaining his comeback.
The pop star, who's done pretty much everything else, but sing in recent years, let fans know: “[Music] means more to me than anybody else in the world.” In the video featuring Timberlake hitting the recording studio, he further explains, “I don't want to put anything out that I feel like is something I don't love. You just don't get that everyday. You have to wait for it.” He then lets the sound engineer in the studio know: “I'm ready.”
With new music confirmed, the countdown to when it will be released begins. Timberlake's next announcement on the project will happen on Jan. 14 at 12 a.m., his official website reveals.
