Newest cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya Moore dropped by The Tom Joyner Morning Show, heard in Atlanta from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on KISS 104.1, and dished about her portrayal on the hit reality show that made NeNe Leakes a household word.

In just two episodes, to say Moore has not come across well is an understatement. "I think Kenya is a Hot MESS!! commented one reader of the AJC's "Radio & TV Talk with Rodney Ho" blog recapping the second episode, which Joyner indicated he reads. "I do not like the way she comes off." And apparently, she is not alone.

Moore herself sounded puzzled by her portrayal. "[I]t’s taken some time for me to adjust on the editing process," she admitted to the crew that includes Joyner, funnyman Jay Anthony Brown, and girl everything Sybil Wilkes. "I think, you know, people that know me and have known me for the last 20 years in the business I’ve definitely been, you know, a classy woman. I’ve been articulate. I’m a lot of things. And the show seems to be moving my, you know, editing process, or my image in a certain direction."

Judging by the teasers for upcoming episodes, one direction involves her pursuing Phaedra Parks's husband Apollo Nida. But Moore put the brakes on that, sharing that "some things are definitely taken out of context, and let me be the first to say I'm not interested in anybody's husband. Not Phaedra's, not anybody else's. So you can put that on record."

Regardless of where the season is headed, there's no denying that Kenya Moore has generated a lot of attention. Whether that attention will swing more positively or not, however, is hard to tell. But judging by the robust rating numbers RHOA's fifth season are commanding, millions will be watching to find out.
