Last September, Missouri state legislators voted to override a veto by pro-abortion Gov. Jay Nixon. SB 749 seeks to protect people and institutions of faith from being forced to provide insurance coverage for abortion or abortion causing drugs against their deeply held religious beliefs. It also places in statute the right to have Missouri’s Attorney General sue to protect Missouri’s religious institutions and business owners if the federal government mandates participation in the destruction of innocent human lives by way of forcing coverage of abortion causing drugs.
Do you know any companies fighting the HHS Mandate that requires employers to buy insurance that covers abortion? A pro-life lobbyist is looking for companies in Missouri that have 50 or more employees that would want to join a law suit that would block the mandate from being enforced in Missouri.
