I'm Going to the Royal Rumble!

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton
Dan Reed, WWE DC!

This Sunday starts the 'Road to WrestleMania', in Pittsburgh (roadtrip!) with WWE's annual Royal Rumble! The Rumble is the best event of the year due to over hyped matches at WrestleMania (Goldberg Vs Brock Lesnar) and due to all the possibilities it could bring. Will a former WWE star make his return (I been waiting for you John Morrison) or will a legend do a one night appearance (you have to say Nash's return at the Rumble was pretty good). The winner of the Rumble this year will get a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Main Event at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans.

So far the card sets up as Big Show Vs Brock Lesnar (my pick and I love the new t-shirt), The Rhodes Brothers (my pick until they finally give The Primetime Players the gold) vs The New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn for HOF). The two main event singles matches are WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton (my pick...he does not suck) vs John Cena (for the 40th time) and one of my 2014 Match of the Year candidates; Daniel Bryan Vs Bray Wyatt.! I don't think this match ends clean so this feud between the best wrestler (sorry CM Punk) and quite possibly the best gimmick of all time, Bray Wyatt. In Sept in DC's Verizon Center, I yelled and begged him to go pick up the microphone and say anything. Not since The Rock has a wrestler had me excited just to watch his promos (John Morrison's The Dirt Sheet was also fantastic but obviously no one has seen them). I'm picking Daniel Bryan to win a unclean finish (probably DQ). Then the 30 man over the top rope royal rumble (My pick to win it is Daniel Bryan, YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!)! I hope WWE has some nice surprises in store for us (I will mark out for Y2J & RVD *if they return*) and has a nice storyline leading up to Mania. After Sunday, scratch off "Royal Rumble" on my bucket list and will no doubt be looking forward to the last Raw before WrestleMania in Washington DC on March 31st!
