What the judges will be looking for

Entries will be judged by the New Jersey Charter Schools Association.  The NJCSA indicates that its judges for the “I Love My School” contest will expect:

  • Passion. We want to learn something about why your school is better than others. Use details, facts and personal experiences to tell your story. Be sure to say the FULL name of your school.
  • Popularity. Judges will take in consideration the popular voting from online Facebook users. Get your entire school involved by promoting your PSA online and getting people to vote for it.
  • Be creative. Try and find ways to showcase your school on the T-shirt and within your messaging. Use music, artwork, graphs, photos and anything else you think will make an effective PSA. You can use any approach you think works best.

Popular vote counts, too, so use social media and networking

Don’t forget to encourage friends and family of your school to vote online for your charter school.  The winning school in the NJCSA “I Love My School” contest will be chosen on criteria that includes the combined factors of popular vote and committee selection.
