'I Love Jenni' to return: Jenni Rivera reality TV show returns in April

With reality show "I Love Jenni" to return in April, it will bring up memories of the late Jenni Rivera. The series will feature footage taken just a month before the singer's death.

The Access Hollywood website reported on Feb. 12 that the reality series is scheduled to come back to MUN2 on Apr. 14 of this year. Just a week before that, a special will air called "We Love Jenni," which will focus on the late star's life. Snoop Lion, Carson Daly and Thalia will be among those featured in interviews in the memorial special. "We Love Jenni" airs Apr. 7 at 9 p.m. EST on MUN2.

Jenni Rivera is a singer-songwriter and actress turned entrepreneur who has also done television production. She brought forth several reality shows in addition to "I Love Jenni," including "Jenni Rivera Presents: Chiquis & Raq-C" and "Chinquis in Control." Rivera, and six others with her, passed away on Dec. 9 of 2012 in a tragic plane crash near Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Roanoke viewers can watch "I Love Jenni" when it makes its return to TV on Apr. 14 at 9 p.m. EST on MUN2 channel.
