I have a plea for Justin Bieber, please hear me out, Justin

I have supported the legalization of marijuana for the past number of years. I have supported and given money to pro-marijuana legalization groups like the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, DRCnet and the Marijuana Policy Project.

I have applauded the work of the American Civil Liberties Union in their support for civil rights and opposition to constitutional violations in the war on marijuana by law enforcement.

But that being said, I must plead with Justin Bieber, to please not use marijuana. He makes everyone who uses it, or even supports it, look bad.

The average stoner, no matter his faults (which might include drinking too much Mountain Dew or eating too many Doritos) is not blocking a road in the middle of the night so he can speed in a Lamborghini sportscar while drunk.

The average pot smoker isn't throwing out the F word right and left to cops and being shocked why he is being questioned by police.

Bieber is not just grossly overrated (he is no Justin Timberlake of course) but also a jerk. Yes, he's young, and he's a rich young man, but there is a level of immaturity, where being called a jerk is rather tame.

Bieber is not even twenty, but I have a feeling he is going to be on a reality show for has been celebs, one day. But, I prefer he go away, maybe back to Canada, but away.
