I Confess! I am Judgmental!

Part 5

God is a just God and in His time He will make every wrong right. God is also a Deliverer, Healer and a Restorer. He is the definitive source of ultimate power! We must welcome and allow the blood of Jesus’ cleansing power to work miraculously within us. There is a better life through Jesus Christ available! “I am the gate; whoever enters through me shall be SAVED. He will come and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal kill and destroy; I have come that they we may have life and have it to the full! I am the good Shepherd!” John 10:9-11

We are to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide! “Go ye therefore into all the world…” Matthew 28. This is the Great Commission! We are not to present what “itching ears” want to hear. As ministers of the Gospel we are called to preach, teach and proceed to live out the principles of the Gospel ourselves not just on Sunday or in the building but every day. We are not called to make others feel good in sin. Nor are we to justify whatever we want to do. This is how we truly express genuine love. The desire that the Lord’s Will is fulfilled in our lives should be the quintessential standard. Sin is what separates us from God! We can argue or debate issues of substance, but know that there is no righteousness apart from God! We can only become righteous through the cleansing power of the precious Blood of Jesus Christ! Guess what? It is the Word that “cleanses us from all unrighteousness!” When we accept Jesus Christ into our hearts He declares us righteous. Confession is good for the soul! We who are believers should be willing to daily bathe in His Word! Clean us up Lord!

The Way of the LORD is supreme! It is often thought that popularity and great numbers indicate that we are successful. *Keep in mind that we are not to let sound judgment and discernment out of our sight! The Word teaches us in Matthew 7 that there are two different paths that we may elect to follow being narrow or the broad. “Narrow is the Way and few finding it!” One must be discerning in order to consistently travel the narrow path which leads to the Lord! So do not look for a crowd to be with you are behind you. Don’t compromise what you have come to know to be true for the sake of being accepted! You can expect to be misunderstood and rejected. It matters more what God knows rather than what others think! Trust God for and in everything! If we all as Christians fully embraced the Word we could actually “turn this world upside down! We cannot change what has been but we can move forward from where we are. Whenever you, I or anyone else chooses to go against what God has said there are and will be dire consequences. So whenever we are being judgmental we as Christians should also be aware that we will have to answer to God at some point. We are without excuse! We need to say what we mean and mean what we say. We must learn to judge righteously!

Whenever or wherever we come together to worship the Lord we should always welcome His presence! His Word is precious Spiritual Food for our souls! May we seek to hide His Word within our hearts. It is in an atmosphere of praise and worship our hearts and minds can be renewed, refueled, refreshed and regenerated. This is true whether it is in private devotional time or together in corporate service with His Church! There is nothing more exhilarating than a Spirit filled worship service where we exalt and glorify the Lord!

*The Lord wants us to use righteous judgment in our daily lives. This is how we learn to make better and wiser choices. “My son (daughter ) preserve sound judgment and discernment, do not let them out of your sight; they will be life for you, and ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid, when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared.” Proverbs 3:21 - 26

Confession really is good for the soul! The Lord knows all of our hearts and minds there is nothing that is hidden to Him anywhere in this world. Let’s get back to basic Christian principles and examine our behavior, actions and motives through the spiritual lens of God’s Word! Strive to learn how to judge righteously and apply the WORD of GOD in your daily life! “Then you will Know the Truth and the Truth will set you FREE!” John 10:33

I confess! I am judgmental!
