I.B. Groomin' commission new murals for their canine clients

Imperial Beach, CA June 18, 2014

New murals have been added to the decor of the Pet Groomin' Business. A little culture goes a long way with the animals.

Providing color and comfort, I.B. Groomin' has created a wonderful atmosphere for their canine clientele. One wall contains a comical dog beach and the other opposing wall present a tropical scene with a tremendous sunset and loads of waves. I know the flowers look real because they were visited by a bee or two while the murals were being painted. It is truly wonderful when we fool mother nature with art.

Nicole, the owner of I.B. Groomin', wanted to bring some colorful life into the business and therefore commissioned, "The Art Kids of San Diego County," to create the colorful and beautiful murals. They took about five weeks to complete both murals but the results were worth the wait.

Some of the artists that worked on the murals were 12 to 14 years old.It is part of the Art Kid program for the kids to paint real life projects so that they can have the experience of doing professional work. Not only are they mentored during his process but they are also paid for they efforts. These young artists get the best of both worlds as they get private lessons and get paid for them.

I.B. Groomin' is located in the Rainbow shopping center on the corner of Rainbow and Palm in Imperial Beach. They are just across the parking lot from the I.B. Pet Store. The Groomin' business is a full service grooming location and does an incredible job with one's canine and feline companion.
