As the season of gift giving is upon us, I can’t help but feel warmth and gratitude. Over the past two years I’ve shared my journey with you through my column and blog. My choices of topics have been extremely personal, they are themes that have both troubled me and touched me profoundly. This column continues to help me find my way. And, your stories of remarkable triumph have awakened my spirit and fueled my hope through such troubling times.
For this, I am very thankful. I’ve been blessed through our connection. Whether you have taken the time to share your story, you are an avid reader or perhaps you are physically in my circle, you are all special to me. It is your affection and kindness that has made a difference in my life.
As these connections have grown, it amazes me, how we have found one another. I am confident there is a much higher power at work here. It is this fellowship that continues to fill my spirit. It offers comfort to know I am not alone; we’re all in this together. It is the strength of this bond that gifts both clarity and healing. Knowing that I am a small part of this greater whole is both humbling and reassuring.
This work continues to lift my spirit in ways I could have never imagined. I am so very grateful for your gift of time and friendship, from my heart to yours, I thank you for being in my life!
I wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with opportunity and love!
With warm thoughts,
Kathryn J. Williams
I’m also grateful for the beauty instilled in my state, Michigan. My bond with nature has been and continues to be life altering. It brings to mind a song, Michigan, My Michigan. Click here for some history about this great song.
