With the release of “Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1” for the PlayStation Vita on Tuesday, Idea Factory International announced earlier today, that the second installment of the series, “Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation” would be making its way to North America and Europe early next year.
Based on the PlayStation 3 RPG, “Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2”, “Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation” follows the adventures of HDD candidates, Nepgear, Uni, Rom and Ram, along with the help of returning characters IF and Compa, as they work to save their older sisters and restore balance to Gamindustri. The land of Gamindustri has fallen into disarray, as 80 percent of all students now worship Arfoire, and despite knowing the dangers of worshiping the deity, parents have allowed their children to do so, resulting in a loss of power for the CPUs.
Similar to “Re;Birth1”, “Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation” will feature a few major changes for players to look forward to, including a new story, newly voiced characters, new playable characters, and a revamped battle system, which will allow players to have up to four characters in battle. The remake system, along with the ability to craft your own game discs for added abilities will also be returning, and gamers will also be able to send Stella out into Gamindustri’s dungeons to explore and possibly return with useful items for the main story.
“Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation” will be available physically and digitally for the PlayStation Vita in North America and Europe in early 2015. To learn more about the game you can visit the official site. A promotional trailer is available up top.
