“Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth” will be available for the PlayStation Vita in North America, physically and digitally, beginning on August 26, 2014. The European release, digital only, will follow on August 27, 2014.

In “Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth”, players will take on the role of Neptune, one of Gamindustri’s four goddesses, called CPUs. After being defeated by the other three CPUs and cast down to the world’s surface, Neptune awakens with no memory. Alongside her new friends Compa and IF, Neptune must journey across the four nations, on a quest to save the world from destruction.

“Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth” is a re-release of the PlayStation 3 RPG, originally released in North America in 2011 by NIS America, but it features some major improvements over the original. These include a overhauled battle system, the system from “Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory”, a new scenario and ending, the “Remake System”, which allows players to customize the game by obtaining plans, additional characters via DLC and more. Gamers will also be able to create unique equippable items by burning Idea Chips (abilities) onto blank discs, and depending on the chips used additional abilities could be added.
