The number of places in Kansas City to buy gluten free groceries was raised considerably when Hy-Vee introduced their health food sections. This made it possible for shoppers to pick up their specialty items and plenty of naturally gluten free groceries in one place.
Hy-Vee also made a conveniently available list of store brand items that are gluten free. The gluten free list contains page after page of items in the store that gluten free consumers can buy for the same prices as everyone else. This resource makes the decision of which brand of salad dressing to buy a simple one.
Adding to the incredibly gluten free friendly attitude at Hy-Vee, they have also employed a team of dietitians to work in their stores. The dietitians work on site and are responsible for scheduling special events and consultations. They have been instrumental in bringing the healthy changes to Hy-Vee that have been so beneficial to gluten free shoppers.
Whether in the store or through their website, Hy-Vee is becoming well known for their willingness to help gluten free shoppers.
