On September 13, the Houston Writers Guild will present Christie Craig’s workshop ‘Blame it on the Parents: Characterization and Motivation.’ The workshop is from 1 to 3 p.m. at Grace Methodist Church, located at 1245 Heights Blvd in Houston. The cost is $35 for members and $45 for non-members.
The workshop will cover why motivation matters, how to find the motivation that fits, and how to understand your characters. There will also be a discussion of rejection – learn how to learn from your rejections, how to let your rejections motivate you, and how to accept rejection as part of your writing process.
