Hustlers to play at Lexington Catholic in 2011

The Lexington Hustlers of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League will play the majority of their home games at Lexington Catholic High School this summer, the team announced Sunday.

Just recently, a replacement of LCHS' synthetic turf playing field was completed. In addition, new lights, dugouts, bathrooms, and locker rooms were also added to the complex.

LCHS also redid their backstop and batters's eye, built a 'green monster' in left field and an indoor hitting/bullpen facility down the right field line.

"It's a gem, it really is," said head coach Bobby Wright. "We are really looking forward to providing our players, fans, and opponents with what will instantly become one of the best summer college baseball facilities in the country."

The Hustlers, whose roster is available on their team website, will be in their second year in existence in 2011. The team plans to announce its home schedule and open season ticket sales in the coming weeks.
