BANGOR-- The Husson University Eagles softball team won their final two conference games to clinch the top seed and home field advantage in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) tournament.
Husson will host the double elimination tournament that will start Friday morning when the Eagles take on Johnson State. Husson outscored Johnson State 49-1 in winning all three regular season meetings.
UMF will take on Thomas in a 2 p.m. contest on Friday. The teams split two games during the regular season. UMF won seven of their final eight conference games, including a sweep over high powered Husson.
Castleton finished as the second seed and will take on Lyndon in the other first round contest. The tournament will continue Saturday and Sunday. Click here for the full schedule.

Husson has a six game winning streak overall and have won 12 consecutive conference games. Games will continue through the weekend, with the championship game on Sunday.
