Husson and UMF play for top seed in North Atlantic Conference

The University of Maine at Farmington (UMF) Beavers men's basketball team will travel to Bangor Tuesday for a contest against the Husson University Eagles.

It will most likely determine the top seed in the North Atlantic Conference (NAC)

The Beavers have a conference record of 13-3. All three losses have come on the road.

UMF (18-5) defeated Johnson State 68-37 on Sunday. Ben Johnson recorded 23 points and 19 rebounds for the Beavers.

Wes Murphy scored 23 points on 7 three-pointers to lead the Eagles to an 106-78 victory over New England College on Sunday.

Husson comes in with a conference record of 12-3. The Eagles are 8-0 at home in conference play.

The Beavers defeated the Eagles 71-64 at Farmington on January 17th.

Husson will conclude their regular season with games at Johnson State and Lyndon State.

UMF will play their regular season finale on Saturday when they host Thomas.

The men's game will start at 5:30. The women's game between the Eagles and Beavers will tip off at 7:30 p.m.
