Where was this last Saturday?
A refreshed looking Huskies squad ran all over Cal, gaining 642 yards in a 41-17 win over the Golden Bears on Saturday night.
Bishop Sankey rushed for a career-best 241 yards as the Huskies ended a three-game losing streak. Keith Price threw for 376 yards and two scores while rushing for another touchdown and Jaydon Mickens had 180 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
The Huskies jumped out to a 17-0 first quarter advantage, fueled by a Sankey three-yard touchdown run and a 68-yard touchdown catch by Mickens.
But the Bears responded with a Chris Harper touchdown reception, cutting the Dawgs lead to 17-7.
After an explosive opening fifteen minute, the Huskies offense bogged down in the second quarter. But Sankey came to the rescue, reeling off a 59-yard touchdown run with 68 seconds left in the half, giving the Huskies a comfortable 24-7 lead at the break.
The Huskies cruised from there, adding 14 points in the fourth quarter to take a 38-7 lead into the fourth.
The Dawgs moved to 5-3 overall and 2-3 in the Pac-12. Washington has a bye next week before hosting Colorado on November 9.
