Rex Burkhead has made it through the first cut with the Cincinnati Bengals. Jury is still out but local reporters expect he will be one of the last to make the team.

Once the doctors cleared him to play he was invited to a mini-camp with the Houston Texans but is not yet showing on a roster. Some continued work and an attempt to enter again next year may be necessary.
