The New Mexico baseball team could not muster any offense on a cold day in Lincoln, losing 3-0 to Nebraska on Sunday.

Christian DeLeon (1-0) threw eight scoreless innings, allowing seven hits — all singles — and two walks. He struck out five batters.
Dylan Vogt earned his second save in as many days, tossing a scoreless ninth inning.
Rich Sanguinetti got Nebraska going in the first inning. He drew a walk, advanced to second base on Austin Darby's sacrifice bunt and then stole third base. Sanguinetti scored on Chad Christensen's groundout to second base.
Josh Scheffert extended the lead with his two-out, two-run homer in the sixth inning.
The Lobos' best chances came in the eighth and ninth innings. Jared Holley led off the eighth with a single, but Alex Allbritton grounded into a fielder's choice. After Josh Melendez singled, DeLeon struck out Sam Haggerty and D.J. Peterson.
In the ninth, Luke Campbell, who went 3-for-4, singled with one out and Alex Real drew a walk, but pinch hitters John Pustay and Ryan Padilla both grounded out to end the game.
Starter Sam Wolff (1-1) allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six in 5.2 innings.
UNM will try to rebound at Isotopes Park on Tuesday against LaSalle at 6 p.m.
