Malin Akerman of ABC's "Trophy Wife" has a rough road ahead of her. Shortly after separating from her husband of six years Roberto Zincone, former drummer for The Petal Stones, filed for divorce. According to Us Weekly on Dec. 3rd, Zincone filed legal documents on Nov. 27 in Los Angeles. It is not currently known why the couple split.
Swedish born Akerman and Zincone had been band mates and an item for four years before they got married on June 20, 2007 in Italy. They also have a son together, Sebastian. This is the first child for both the actress and drummer. Sebastian is 7 months old.
While Akerman remains a trophy wife on television she will now be known as one of the most eligible single ladies in Hollywood and even as her personal life hits a road bump, her professional life is quite successful with her major motion pictures and turning to the small screen to portray Kate on “Trophy Wife”. Kate is the third wife of Pete Harrison (Bradley Whitford) and stepmother to three children.
