Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts: The Stouffer’s Mac ‘N’ Cheese Truck Heads to NYC

When Hurricane Sandy barreled through the East Coast, it changed the landscape and lives of so many more than we all could have possibly imagined. Numerous people and companies have stepped up to help with hurricane relief efforts and Stouffer's is doing what they can.

I'm pretty obsessed with their mac and cheese, so imagine my excitement when I found out that they're temporarily driving the Stouffer’s® Mac ‘N’ Cheese Truck through NYC after teaming up with the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City in order to raise funds for hurricane relief efforts. The best part is that 100% of the proceeds go toward hurricane relief, so it's a great excuse to forgo the diet and indulge for a meal. The truck will be driving around until February 14 and each cup of deliciousness costs only $4.

In addition to serving the regular mac and cheese, they'll also be serving up additional varieties including Chili Mac, Mex Mac, BBQ Mac, Veggie Mac and Shroom Mac. There are also six awesome chefs who teamed up with Stouffer's and are having a contest of sorts. They'll each have day where they'll debut their own mac and cheese creation and whomever has the highest amount of sales for their recipe will have $25,000 donated in their name to hurricane relief efforts.

The truck will be a different place every weekday so chances are wherever you are around the city, you'll be able to find time to stop by if you so desire.
