The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library will screen a series of classic Alfred Hitchcock movies beginning on Monday, April 28, 2014. All film presentations begin at 6 pm in the second floor events room of the main library location and are free to the public. Library staff and local movie buffs will introduce the four Hitchcock movies being shown during the series.
The series kicks off on Monday, April 28, with "Lifeboat" (1944), which stars Huntsville native Tallulah Bankhead and fellow Alabama actress Mary Anderson. On Monday, May 5, the library will feature "Rear Window" (1954), starring Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly. Cary Grant and Grace Kelly star in "To Catch a Thief" (1955) on Monday, May 12. The series concludes on Monday, May 19, with Tippi Hedren and Rod Taylor in "The Birds" (1963).
