There is an abandoned cemetery off of Tinkers Creek Road that is hidden high upon a hill in the woods. Anyone that has been to or knows about this cemetery will tell you that it has been haunted for years. Ghosts and shadow figures are believed to roam this graveyard often and they may even follow you home.
This hilltop resting place has gone by many names over the years. Hidden Cemetery, Hillside Cemetery, Old Indian Cemetery, Pilgerruh Cemetery, Terra Vista Cemetery, and Tinkers Creek Cemetery are what it has been known as. Due to frequent vandalism and the Ohio climate, not a lot of tombstones remain in this vast graveyard. Many people believe that this was a Native American burial ground long before settlers started using it. During construction of the nearby Ohio & Erie Canal, many of the workers died from diseases and their bodies were buried here in mass graves. Cemetery records are kept with the Western Reserve Historical Society.
A lot of strange phenomena happen at this creepy cemetery. Some people even believe it to be cursed. From ghosts, to shadow figures, to cult activity, Tinkers Creek Cemetery may certainly be haunted. While looking for this hidden cemetery you may find yourself lost in Hell Town. Don't go alone.
