There have been numerous ghost sightings, shadow figures have been spotted, and some people still even hear the mill's factory whistle.
History
The Jaite Paper Mill was built in 1903 by Charles Jaite. The company was officially established on September 18, 1905. The facility was used until 1984. In 2007, the National Park Sevice raised what was left of the former mill. All that remains now is a skeleton of one of the pieces of machinery.

Many people have an uneasy feeling and some sense themselves being watched there. A shadow being has been spotted on many occasions by some folks. Nearby residents claim to have heard the old mill's whistle from time to time. The factory whistle was blown various times throughout the day but hasn't been used in decades.
