Hunting the haunted: Milan's Cemetery

The cemetery in Milan has a reputation for being haunted. Most of the ghostly encounters seem to be near the Abott tomb. There is a story passed around by locals and they say if someone knocks on the door of the tomb or disturbs it, they will get confronted by an angry spirit. Some visitors claim that they were chased out of the cemetery, never to return.

History
The Milan Cemetery was established in 1851. Ben and Lorena Abbot's tomb is located here and it has many legends surrounding it.

Haunted History
There are numerous ghost stories and legends involving the Milan Cemetery. The most talked about is the legend of the Abbot tomb. If anyone disturbs it or knocks on the door, the ghost of Ben Abbot will chase them out of the cemetery, or so they say.

Location
The Milan Cemetery is located at 110 South Edison Drive, in Milan, Ohio.
