The Jefferson Park in Mesa is rumored to be haunted. Park visitors have witnessed a woman wearing white wandering from tree to tree around midnight. Some people believe the spirit belongs to a woman who was raped and murdered in the park.

People that visit Jefferson Park late at night sometimes get a glimpse of a ghostly woman in white. It is believed that the spirit once belonged to a woman who was raped and murdered nearby. Strange things have been witnessed by many park-goers. Weird lights, wispy shadow figures, and strange smells are often encountered.
