The trails in the Gorge Metro Park are believed to be haunted. Some people have seen odd ghost lights while hiking the Highbridge Trail. Spirits of Native Americans are rumored to haunt the park. A lot of people drowned in the river and their bodies have washed up along the lower banks over the years.
History
Gorge Metro Park was established in 1930 when the Northern Ohio Traction & Light Company donated 144 acres of land to the Metro Parks. The park is 155 acres and features the Glens, Gorge, and Highbridge Trails.
The Highbridge Trail begins at the Gorge Metro Park on Front Street and extends to the Cascade Metro Park. The trail travels along the Cuyahoga River beneath the High Level Bridge.
The Gorge Metro Park is a nice scenic retreat. The park offers many hiking trails and picnic areas.
Haunted History
Many people have drowned in the Cuyahoga River. Their bodies wash up on the banks below the Highbridge Trail. Some remains have never been found. Many people believe that ghosts of Native Americans haunt the park. A few people have witnessed odd glowing ghost lights along the trail.

The Highbridge Trail is located in the Gorge Metro Park, at 1270 Front Street, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
