Hunting the haunted: Cuyahoga Falls' Glens Trail

There is a hiking trail along the Cuyahoga River that some people think is haunted. The path used to be part of an amusement park that featured a roller coaster. Now ghosts are believe to wander Glens Trail.

History
The High Bridge Glens Park in was built in 1882. The amusement park featured a roller coaster and a dance pavillion. It was very popular with local residents and tourists. The park later closed in the 1920s due to railroad expansion and when construction of the dam flooded lower portions of the park.

Today, the land is now part of the Gorge Metro Park. The park contains many trails and picnic areas.

Haunted History
Many people have died along Glens Trail. There have been countless accidents where people fell into the river and drowned. A deadly train wreck even occurred nearby. Someone seems to lose their life every year along this trail. Their ghosts are believed to roam the path along the crooked river.

Location Glens Trail is located at 1160 Front Street, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
