The Heather Hill Hospital is allegedly haunted. Most of the hospital's staff have reported seeing strange things, hearing weird sounds, and even smelling odd odors. Some of them claim to have encountered the ghost of a little boy. The boy's ghost has been witnessed playing in various parts of the facility.
The Heather Hill Hospital was founded in 1939 by Mabel Woodruff, a Cleveland social worker. The hospital, part of the University Hospitals Health Systems, serves as a teaching facility and has an on-campus residence for student interns. Heather Hill is recognized throughout the world for its advanced Alzheimer services.
The hospital is rumored to be haunted by various spirits. One of the ghosts is a little boy that the staff calls "knicker boy". Staff have witnessed the boy's ghost all throughout the building. Strange phantom smells have also been encountered by hospital employees. Some of them claim that their names have been called in parts of the hospital and upon investigation, no one is around.
The Heather Hill Hospital is located at 12340 Bass Lake Road, in Chardon, Ohio.
