Hunter Hayes has scored another round of success with the release of his second album titled “Storyline.” Pollstar reported on May 17, 2014 that Hayes used his honesty when he created his latest album by sharing his own journey with his fans. Hayes has jumped to the top of Billboard’s Country Albums Chart with the debut of “Storyline” landing in the number one position with nearly 70,000 copies of “Storyline” sold in the first week.

Hayes new album “Storyline” features his hit single “Invisible” which is the song he performed to kick off his “24 Hour Road Race to End Child Hunger” when he set out to break the Guinness World Record for the most amount of live shows played in 24 hours. The Guinness World Record that Hayes had to beat was held by The Flaming Lips for performing eight live shows within 24 hours.

Hayes teamed up with ConAgra Foods to perform 10 shows in 10 different cities within 24 hours and became the new Guinness World Record holder while raising money during his record braking performances. Hayes made his record breaking stops by putting on shows in New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. Hayes also raised additional money by auctioning off the Martin OM-42 he played during the shows and the Tudor watch that he was wearing during his performances.

Hayes discussed his personal connection to his single “Invisible” and the music on his latest album by saying “‘Invisible’ was something that I wrote to say that I’ve been able to see that your dreams can come true, and there’s no reason not to be yourself.” Hayes continued by saying “My fans have given me a chance to make the music I have always made, but I’ve only made it by myself in my living room” adding “Now I have a place where I can be myself, where I can be the geek that loves music on stage in an arena.”
