Hunter Hayes is rocking a purple suit on ACM red carpet

Country music artist Hunter Hayes is having a great day so far. He not only has his new single out today, but he also walked the red carpet at the 2013 ACM Awards at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Hayes was interviewed by GAC’s Nan Kelley as he arrived on April 7 wearing a snazzy purple suit along with his signature sneakers.

The 21-year-old singer is all set to debut his new song, “I Want Crazy,” tonight on stage with none other than the magical Stevie Wonder. Hayes said how exciting it is for him to collaborate with such a musical icon. He also performed at The ACM Experience at The Orleans Hotel Casino on Saturday night. He looked like he was having fun singing and jamming on his guitar for his fans.

He tweeted earlier today, “Happy ACM day everyone! Finishing touches on my guitar for tonight... Seems to say it all doesn't it.” He then posted a photo of his red guitar with the words ‘Let’s be crazy’ written on it.

Hayes is up for six ACM Awards, which makes him the second most nominated artist this year. He has also been on the Blown Away Tour with Carrie Underwood. Not too bad for a young new country artist who has quite a long career ahead of him.

How many awards do you think Hunter Hayes will take home tonight at the ACM Awards?
