Hunter Hayes highlight of the week ahead here in Huntsville

This week is the week of tax day and begins with the possibility of severe weather. But, this is also the week of both Easter and Passover, a time for new beginnings in the spring of the year. Also happening this week is a concert by country music superstar Hunter Hayes. Here is the week ahead in Huntsville for April 13-20, 2014.

Hunter Hayes will perform in concert here in Huntsville this week. Hunter's hits include "Storm Warning", "Everybody's Got Somebody But Me", and "I Want Crazy". His concert will be at the Von Braun Center Arena Thursday, April 17th, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $35.50 and $49.50.

Got refund? Income tax returns for both the federal and state levels need to be postmarked or submitted online before midnight on Tuesday, April 15th.

Easter and Passover events are being planned by many churches, synagogues, and community organizations this week. Check with your local church or non-profit organization for times and locations.

Broadway Theatre League will present American Idiot this week. The performance will be held at the Von Braun Center Concert Hall on Thursday, April 17th.

The annual "Christ Our Passover" event will be held this week in the Von Braun Center North Hall. It will take place on Tuesday, April 15th.

Severe weather is possible during the day on Monday, April 14th. Please remain alert for changing weather conditions and listen for watches and warnings using a NOAA Weather Radio.
