Today April 10, 2014 IGN announced the newest "Magic: The Gathering" video game: "Duels of the Planeswalkers 2015." The title is slated to hit Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, iPad, Android, and for the first time Kindle this summer, coinciding with the "Magic 2015" core set. In this latest installment you'll be able to "hunt bigger game" with Garruk, who's rumored to have a new card in "M15."
Noticeably absent from the announcement were the platforms PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Wii U. It's possible that game will hit other consoles at a later date.
Several upgrades to this year's edition of the game include "a more robust deck builder," "customized decks," and "premium booster packs."
Through the years the game has become continuously refined, and previous installments have had modes such as "Archenemy," "Planechase," and "sealed deck" that make them significantly different from each other in more ways than just cards. We're looking forward to see what this year has to offer.
Wizards of the Coast will be showing demos of "Duels of the Planeswalkers 2015" this weekend at PAX East in Boston, Mass. and if you can't make it don't worry: We'll be there to check it out for you.
