'Hunger Games' will be a movie based on a book by the same name. It is being filmed in Concord,N.C. and is slated to begin filming today. 'Hunger Games' is about a young girl who joins a survival contest to save her community. The slated release date will be March, 2012. The stars include Woody Harrelson, Donald Sutherland, and Lenny Kravitz. Jennifer Lawrence will play Katniss Everdeen, the girl who joins the survival contest.
It isn't often that you hear about a movie such as this that has a humanitarian backdrop to it. In the times in which we live, it is nice to see a movie that shows humanity at it's grassroots. The draw, hopefully, of the movie will show the drive of the human spirit to never give up until what you believe in is accomplished. The selflessness of what is being portrayed in this movie will be something to look up to as well. You have a sole person who is concerned enough to contribute what she can to a communities survival. This is trult an example of a selfless love.
