Each year Miami comes alive with the global excitement of Miami Fashion Week . This year we are eager to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of this event from March 20 - 24, 2013. This is by far the largest Latin American and International fashion event in the United States.
To get us prepared and kick off a wonderful year of fashion, the 4th Annual Humanitarian Awards are set to take place on February 7, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. poolside at the Mondrian South Beach Hotel in Miami Beach.
The Humanitarian Awards bring a sense of pride and recognition to Miami's most worthy and hard-working philanthropists who have given so much back to the local community. As a special treat on this esteemed evening, there will be a momentous fashion presentation by "Miami Fashion ICON Award Recipients" Nicolas Felizola, Julian Chang and Viviana G for Petit Pois. It gets even bigger with fashion models, celebrity guests, music, food, cocktails, an awards presentation and a luxury silent auction with impressive and irresistible items from Tiffany & Co., Miami's hottest hotels, restaurants and nightclubs, luxury car dealers, international artists, spa treatments and so much more.
Funds raised during the evening will go to benefit Miami Fashion Week Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization supporting education within the creative arts by providing cash scholarships, mentoring programs and internships, among other incentives for students and emerging talent in the creative industries. The event will be co-hosted by Tiffany & Co. and the Pillars of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce.
The woman behind the magic of Miami Fashion Week and the founder, Beth Sobol, remarked,"it's hard to believe that it has already been 15 years that we have been bringing the best emerging fashion talent in the world to Miami!"
