Smokey Robinson presents Human Nature - The Motown Show, celebrated the Grand Opening at their new home in the Sands Showroom at the Venetian Hotel and Casino on Friday, February 22nd .
Human Nature is an extremely talented vocal quartet comprised of Australian natives Andrew Tierney, his brother Mike Tierney, Phil Burton and Toby Allen who, with their great harmonies and excellent choreography, do a magnificent job recreating the classic hits of Motown from some of the greatest legendary groups such as The Four Tops, The Temptations, The Marvelettes, The Supremes, The Jackson Five, Smokey Robinson and more that had the audience on their feet singing and dancing along.
I saw Human Nature perform when they were at the Imperial Palace and was blown away by their talent. Now making their home at the Venetian, their show is even better. Backed by a superb seven piece band called The Funk Foundation, the boys from down under deliver one of the most engaging, high energy shows on the strip. It is a must see show for visitors and locals alike.
In attendance at the VIP Opening Night Performance and After Party were: Smokey Robinson; Denise Williams (Let's Hear it for The Boys); Mary Wilson of The Supremes; Motown songwriters Brian and Edward Holland; Teller (of Penn & Teller); the men of Thunder from Down Under; Producer Adam Steck; Alex Schechter; Seth Yudof; comedy magician Mike Hammer; dancers from Fantasy at the Luxor; Fantasy star Lorena Peril; Divas Las Vegas star, female impersonator Frank Marino; comedy magician Murray Sawchuck, his wife/stage assistant/Fantasy dancer Chloe Louise Crawford and his sidekick Doug "Lefty" Leferovich; Chef Carla Pellegrino; Holly Madison (Holly's World); singer/entertainer Chris Phillips (Zowie Bowie); violinist Lydia Ansel; entertainer/TV host Tony Sacca; Chef Josette Leblond; The Australian Bee Gees; Monti Rock III; and Stratosphere headliner Frankie Moreno.
