The Hulk Hogan WWE rumors have been in full swing since his contract with TNA Wrestling expired two weeks ago. However, PWS reported on Oct. 14 that the WWE low balled Hogan in their contract offer and he has chosen to remain with TNA.
The WWE rumors were that Hogan would return and be a part of “Wrestlemania 30” next year as a big attraction for the show. With The Rock unsure about returning and Stone Cold Steve Austin wavering as well, Hogan was the obvious next big choice.
The problem is that the WWE was offering Hogan less to re-sign with the company than either Brock Lesnar or The Rock for their individual matches. When Hogan realized the WWE was paying Rock and Lesnar more than they were offering him, he decided to remain with TNA Wrestling.
TNA reportedly will sign Hogan to a one-year deal that will pay him about the same as The Rock and Lesnar make for a single match in the WWE, which shows how low the WWE chose to go in their offer to Hogan.
Hulk Hogan has been advertised for this weekend’s “Bound for Glory” pay-per-view event despite being “fired” on air two weeks ago on “TNA Impact Wrestling.”
