The fun – or absurdity – of Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” video isn’t far from over as it just received a resurgence of attention via Hulk Hogan this week, according to People magazine on Saturday.
GVSU removes iconic wrecking ball due to Miley Cyrus imitators
Legendary wrestling entrepreneur – 60-year-old Hulk Hogan - took a shot at Cyrus and her video – in which Cyrus goes controversially naked – by doing a “Wrecking Ball” video of his own. In the humorous spot, Hogan sits upon a wrecking ball with a long fluffy-snaked creation around his neck while wearing a thong which gives viewers a view – whether they want it or not - of his derriere.
The video was produced as an advertisement for Hulk Hogan’s Web hosting service called Hostamania.
This is just one of several Miley Cyrus “Wrecking Ball” video-twists and turns that have been taken since the Music Video Awards’ twerking-show grabber’s popularity caught on fire in recent months. A school in Allendale, Michigan - Grand Valley State University - had to take down its iconic wrecking ball sculpture because students were stripping down, flying on the wrecking ball Miley Cyrus-styled naked, and posting their bare selves online.
