Hulk Hogan told reporters that he wants Chris Hemsworth, 30, to play him in a biopic. Hogan, a 60-year-old semi-retired pro wrestler, thinks that the "Thor" star can bring the serious acting needed to fulfill the role. According to United Press International on August 19, 2013, Hogan said that it is already in development.
A biopic on Hogan is still in its early stages, but Hogan has approved a four-page treatment. Rumors spread about the film far before it was under consideration for production.
Hulk Hogan feels that only Thor himself can do the role justice. Hemsworth would certainly do a great job in filling out the trademark spandex pants costume. No word yet from Hogan's choice actor.
The story behind all this is that Hulk Hogan said a TMZ reporter asked him a number of questions while he was walking through LaGuardia Airport. He wanted to know when exactly, if ever, are they going to do a biopic about the strongman’s life. Hulk responded that it was already in development and a couple of very hot young writers had given it a 4-page treatment, which he approved immediately.
